    Recently ordered an 8yd skip for bricks/concrete from an old koi pond. It was delivered quickly, collected quickly and the staff were brilliant - the office guys were great and answered all of my questions regarding weight etc, and the driver was a very amiable chap, whisking the heavy skip away flawlessly.     What types of waste can I bring to your tipping facility?

    We accept general mixed waste, construction and demolition materials, green waste, inert waste, timber, metals, and plastics. Certain restricted materials such as asbestos, liquids, and hazardous waste cannot be accepted. If you are unsure whether your waste is suitable, please call our team on 01293 772772 before arriving.

    No prior appointment is needed for most standard loads. Simply arrive during opening hours — Monday to Friday 7.00am–5.00pm, Saturday 7.00am–12.00pm. For large commercial loads or specialist materials, we recommend calling ahead so we can ensure the correct capacity and handling arrangements are ready for you.

    Tipping is charged by weight and waste type. Costs are calculated on arrival once your load has been weighed on our weighbridge. All prices exclude VAT. For a cost estimate prior to visiting, please call our office on 01293 772772 and our team will be happy to assist.

    Yes, but plasterboard must be kept completely separate from mixed waste. Due to environmental regulations surrounding gypsum, it requires dedicated disposal. Please inform our team on arrival so they can direct you to the correct tipping area. Plasterboard placed in mixed waste will not be accepted.

    Yes. Britaniacrest Recycling holds a current Environmental Permit issued by the Environment Agency. We operate in full compliance with all relevant UK waste management regulations. We are FORS accredited and 100% compliant, giving you complete confidence that your waste is disposed of legally and responsibly.
